AdviceINDICATIONSThis medicine is used for the treatment of dementia (deterioration in memory) associated withAlzheimer’s disease.PREGNANCYNo damage of risk of damage in humans has been found to date, hence, it can be used but with caution.LACTATIONIt is advised to observe cautiousness while using this medicine.SIDE EFFECTSThe side-effects are hallucinations, confusion, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, tiredness, hypertension,constipation, shortness of breath, balance disorders, and elevated liver function tests.PRECAUTIONSThis medicine should be cautiously used in patients with liver and kidney impairment. Precautionsshould be taken in patients with epilepsy (abnormal brain activity), history of convulsions (uncontrolledactions of the body), recent myocardial infarction, heart failure, and uncontrolled hypertension.CONTRAINDICATIONSThis medicine is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment.
